It worked great and they stayed up for a week with no issue. Outside I hung them from a ledge on our lanai and just used blue painters tape to tape the wire.
Well, I've stocked up on White Balloons for decorating the wedding reception, but I think now after seeing these, I may have to change to Tissue Puffs! So elegant. Hmmm.... better start stocking up on tissue now! Beautiful job, Ruth!
Susan--they are really, really light, so inside we tied white thread (just regular sewing thread--fishing line probably would've been better but we didn't have any) to the wire in the middle and then hung them using clear thumbtacks. It worked great and they stayed up for a week with no issue. Outside I hung them from a ledge on our lanai and just used blue painters tape to tape the wire. I then bent the wire back over the tape so they wouldn't slide down, again with no problems.
I love this idea. I want to do them for my daughter's 1st birthday party. How did you attach them to the ceiling?
I LOVE this idea.... adn my local Dollar Tree carries the tissue paper!
